In light of the Government’s recent plans to slowly ease a carefully chosen number of children back to nursery, primary and secondary school from June 1st, with health and safety at the epicentre of our ethos, Wellies are literally taking ‘baby steps’ to ensure that when the youngest member of your family returns to us, we will make it our absolute objective to care for them in the safest environment possible.

We are here to support families who find themselves returning to their places of employment and aim to be best in class in providing a safe and structured environment for your child/children to flourish.
With health and safety in mind, we have detailed below our plan of action to reassure you of our absolute commitment to safety:

• We will be operating on reduced hours with a limited number of staff so to care for our small group of children safely and effectively
• Unfortunately, we will not be allowing parents to enter the nursery building with their children. All handovers will take place at the main entrance so to maintain the cleanest environment possible
• Our staff will practice regular handwashing in accordance with government guidelines, and additional hand washing facilities will be put in place both inside and outside the nursery building
• The best place to be is outside, so with this in mind we will aim to spend more time outside (weather permitting), so children can practice social distancing and enjoy the freshness of summer!
Even though this list may come across as being clinical, Wellies will still provide cuddles, love and sitting on knees for Storytime if children so wish!
You can be sure that when your child/children return to us they will be in the safest hands possible so you can focus on keeping yourself safe in your work environment.
